3 years & up. Turn curiosity into hands-on discovery with the Ramptastic STEM Ramp for Testing Velocity. This sturdy wooden incline ramp features six different surface textures, inviting children to predict, test, and compare how objects move across different surfaces. As children investigate the effects of texture and weight on speed, they explore early science concepts such as friction, motion, and inclined planes.
Encourage children to ask questions, repeat experiments, and describe what they observe while developing critical thinking, problem-solving, and scientific vocabulary. Shared investigations also offer opportunities to take turns, discuss predictions, and compare results with classmates. Included activity cards guide exploration, making this preschool STEM ramp a useful addition to classroom science centers and hands-on learning activities.
